Milan May Offer Young Talent to Secure Fiorentina Star

AC Milan is expected to revisit its striker options this summer after the loan signing of Niclas Füllkrug and the collapsed Jean-Philippe Mateta deal due to medical issues. According to TuttoSport, Moise Kean has emerged as a leading target.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly keen on reuniting with Kean, having previously managed him at Juventus. While the striker struggled in a secondary role there, he impressed in the 2024/25 season. This year has been less consistent, with 8 goals in 23 Serie A appearances amid Fiorentina’s struggles.

Kean’s contract includes a €62M release clause valid only in the first two weeks of July, which Fiorentina may insist on activating. His €4.5M annual salary is not expected to be a major hurdle for Milan.

Alternative proposals are under consideration, including a €30-35M fee combined with youngster Francesco Camarda, possibly with a future buyback clause. Camarda has had a difficult first Serie A season and is currently sidelined for months due to a shoulder injury.

Interestingly, Dusan Vlahović appears off Milan’s radar, likely due to high salary demands despite being a free agent. Fiorentina, after a disappointing season, may be open to various transfer solutions rather than Italian sides triggering the full release clause.

Milan’s summer strategy seems focused on balancing immediate striking reinforcement with financial prudence, keeping Kean at the top of their radar.
